Our Process When Becoming a Client As an independent financial services firm we at Athenian Private Client Group become your one source for coordination of all of your financial needs. We begin with a Discovery meeting to determine your financial goals and objectives, review your finances, estate plan and insurance coverage to determine inefficiencies, and conclude with a recommended financial plan suggesting investment strategies that are in line with your financial goals. While each of our clients is unique, they all have one thing in common: They want unbiased advice from an experienced professional. Our clients look to Athenian Private Client Group to provide an objective, third party perspective when considering the most suitable strategies for their financial outlook. Whether it is managing the client’s financial affairs or managing their assets to with a goal to preserve capital, our clients look to us to guide them toward financial confidence.1 - DISCOVERY MEETINGThis phase of the process is considered the information gathering phase that helps our team to determine your financial goals and objectives.2 - RISK PROFILEIn order to construct a strategy that is in line with your financial goals and objectives, we need to understand the level of risk that you can tolerate in any given market. Therefore, we ask prospective clients to complete a risk tolerance questionnaire (RTQ). The questionnaire results, together with the financial objectives established during our initial meeting(s), enable our firm to gain perspective on your tolerance for volatility.3 - ADDITIONAL ANALYSIS (UPON REQUEST)Estate Planning ReviewMulti-Generational PlanningRisk Management AnalysisLife InsuranceLong-Term Care InsuranceRetirement Funding AnalysisCollege Funding AnalysisFamily PhilanthropyStrategies that Seek to Maximize Charitable Intent Through the Use of a Variety of InstrumentsSupporting OrganizationsPrivate FoundationsDonor-Advised Funds4 - INVESTMENT POLICY STATEMENTAthenian Private Client Group will create a wealth management proposal reflecting the analysis of your existing investments and the associated risk within that portfolio and our recommendation(s).
